Toshiba Xario 200 Platinum Review:

The Toshiba Xario Platinum series all share the system architecture; therefore, functions in a manner similar to and are intended for the same use. The two Xario Platinum systems are relatively compact, lightweight and flexible. The console and touch screen are two unique strengths, compared to similar grade systems from other OEMs that are customizable to optimize user’s workflow and provide a physically adjustable height mechanism and articulated LCD arms. The handle on the LCD monitor is a great idea that allows the user to easily move the monitor into position. The Quick Start menu may reduce keystrokes and shorten exam time. The user can improve ergonomics by using the one button instant image optimization.

The Toshiba Xario 200 Platinum is one of most affordable systems that supports a number of smart features that migrated from the Toshiba Aplio series for the last several years. The Toshiba Xario 200 Platinum is a mid-rage system, but with its clinically accepted superb gray scale and Doppler quality, selectable high-end options such as Contrast Harmonic Imaging (CHI), Superb Micro Vascular Imaging (SMI), Elastography-FLR, Auto NT, and Luminance enable enable it to be positioned higher by meeting the high clinical standard from physicians in many applications, especially General imaging and OB/GYN. For the dedicated cardiac application, the Toshiba Xario 200 Platinum has a choice of CW, Stress Echo, a full range of sector transducers, Pencil transducers, and adult TEE transducers.

The Toshiba Xario Platinum series also provides a number of clinical tools that promote wider clinical utilities and saves scanning time by providing better visualization in a short time. The Superb Micro Vascular Imaging (SMI) is a function that increases physician’s clinical productivity and diagnostic efficiency with better visualization of low-velocity blood flow. The Contrast Harmonic Imaging (CHI) function is a unique feature that allows Toshiba’s second-harmonic wave signals from the microbubbles in the contrast medium to be visualized.
