• The Smith & Nephew Opsite Flexifix is a transparent film dressing roll
• The film is waterproof and aids in the prevention of bacterial contamination
• The film has high moisture vapour permeability which helps in the prevention of accumulation of perspiration & other fluids under the dressing
• It has an acrylic adhesive which minimises the risk of skin damage when the film is removed
• The Opsite Flexifix has been designed in a way that allows for easy application of the film to awkward areas of the body and other awkward surfaces such as dressings and tubes
• The film is extensible
• The Unique & novel roll system enables easy application and economical use

Indicated uses:

• Retention of primary dressings
• Fixation of tubing
• Attachment of leg bags, stoma devices
• In the reduction of shearing forces on unbroken skin as in the case of pressure sore prophylaxis
• Treatment of painful peripheral neuoropathy

Precaution:

• This is not supposed to be used on open wounds
• The dressing roll is available in size of 10 cm X 10 meters
