– The Schuelke Kodan PVP Povidone Iodine is a broad spectrum antimicrobial skin antiseptic solution that is tested by a reputed microbiology laboratory and effective against bacteria, fungi, protozoa, viruses & bacterial spores
– It acts rapidly and forms a uniform protective layer during pre-surgical application
– Composition:
– Contains Povidone-Iodine IP 5 % w/v (weight by volume) (0.5 % w/v available Iodine)
– Contains Povidone-Iodine IP 10 % w/v (1.0 % w/v available Iodine)
– Purified water
– Application Areas:
– Degerming of skin for pre & post-surgical procedures
– Skin antisepsis prior to injections, punctures, excisions
– Antiseptic treatment of superficial wounds, traumatic injuries, vaginal preparation prior to a surgical procedure
– Instructions for Use:
– Use undiluted
– Apply directly to skin
– Apply as often as required with a wet swab moistened with kodan PVP or use as directed by physician
