– The Polymed Umbilical Catheter is equipped with atraumatic, soft rounded open distal tip to reduce vascular trauma
– The catheter has a tube with radio-opaque line, marked at every cm from 5 to 25 cm from the open distal tip for accurate placement
– The catheter can be used with venous or arterial routes for infusion, transfusion, administration of medication, blood sampling, pressure measurement etc.
– The PVC tube is soft, frosted and kink resistant
– The length of the tube is 40 cm
– The umbilical catheter is available in 4 sizes:
– 4FG
– 5FG
– 6FG
– 8FG
– They come in a standard packing of 100 units per pack
