The Medilink Static Cockup Splint is a wrist brace used in radial nerve palsy as a static splint. It holds the affected hand in a neutral position preventing the palm from bending forward, thus keeping pressure off the median nerve.

HOW TO USE
– Select the proper size of the splint for the left or right arm
– The ‘Inside Up?’ label indicates the inside top edge of the product
– Insert the thumb of the affected hand into the hole provided in the splint ensuring that the hosiery lining touches the skin
– Insert the velcro loops into the buckles, pull back, and lock over the velcro hook
– The removable, pre-bent palmar splint can be adjusted to the desired angle of immobilization at the wrist joint
