The GE Lightspeed Pro 16-Slice CT has a larger x-ray tube (8.0MHu) and x-ray generator (100kW) than the standard Lightspeed 16 slice CT. The larger tube, smaller Focal Spot (0.6mm x 0.7mm) and larger generator allows for higher mA techniques and faster scan times better suited cardiac, angio examinations or high volume locations.
