3M Tegaderm + Pad Transparent Composite Dressing with Pad

– The 3M Tegaderm + Pad is a composite dressing that comes with a non adherent pad. The dressing is sterile and waterproof. It comes in the form of a non adherent absorbent pad that is bonded with a larger thin and transparent dressing.

– This dressing has a unique “picture frame” design that enables a quick and precise placement on the wound

– The waterproof bacterial barrier allows patients to shower without taking off the dressing

– It ensures a moist environment around the wound to facilitate the healing process

– The non adherent pad does not stick to the wound

– The dressing is easily conformable

– Indicated applications:

– As a post surgical dressing

– Wound with light to moderate drainage

– Superficial wound with partial thickness

– Acute wounds such as abrasions, wounds and cuts

– To secure and cover peripheral and central IV sites

– To dress chronic wound and fragile skin which is at risk to damage

– It can also be used as a secondary dressing over hydrogels, gauze and alginates
