– The 3M IV Transparent Dressing is sterile and has a notched design for a better seal around the catheter compliant with CDC, 2011 and INS guidelines
– It is a breathable film that allows moisture vapour and oxygen exchange, provides a bacterial and viral barrier to outside contaminants
– The transparent film with high adhesion allows for maximum versatility as it can be cut to any shape and size
– The IV dressing allows easy monitoring of wounds without the need to remove the dressing
– Suggested Applications:
– To secure catheters for peripheral and central IV lines
– Paediatric applications and securing of dialysis catheters
– Can be used for other catheter applications like pulmonary artery and jugular catheters
– The transparent dressing is available in the sizes of:
