- These sealing films are aluminium hence completely opaque and the end user cannot see the contents in the well. The film is adhesive coated and sticks to the plate.
- These films are readily pierceable either by manual pipette or by liquid handling robot. Once the hole is pierced the film is no longer self sealing.
