The Vivid iq ultrasound machine combines the proven high performance of the Vivid product line with a new and innovative portable laptop design. The Vivid iq System is a comprehensive digital cardiovascular and internal medicine ultrasound system with support for the following 2D clinical applications: cardiac, transesophageal, peripheral vascular, adult cephalic, neonatal cephalic, transcranial and transvaginal applications. Using both coherent and harmonic image processing, the system provides computational power, ease of use for imaging and analysis, and workflow flexibility. The combination of the full touch screen control with a conventional user control panel provides intuitive controls, helping the operator maintain focus on the patient and the ultrasound images during the exam. Auto optimization technology assists the operator in obtaining excellent image quality with minimal manipulation of controls. Ergonomic features include continuous viewing angle adjustment for the LCD monitor and innovative TrackPad design to provide efficient, intuitive user input. The Vivid iq ultrasound machine is ultraportable, enabling easy transportation. The battery extends scanning time without an AC power supply and provides quick boot-up time from standby mode. The Vivid iq System uses raw data technology that allows for advanced processing on archived images by applying many of the same scan controls and advanced quantitative tools available during the original exam.
