– The Schuelke Microshield Tincture Skin Antiseptic is a hospital grade antiseptic for pre- and post-surgical antisepsis
– It is persistent and meant for cumulative antibacterial activity
– It has a broad spectrum activity against Gram +ve and Gram -ve bacteria and antibiotic resistant bacteria (including MRSA, VRE, spore forming organisms and food borne pathogens), yeast, fungi and viruses (including HIV-1, Herpes Simplex and Influenza type A)
– Composition:
– Contains: 70% v/v (volume by volume) Ethanol and 0.5% w/v (weight by volume) Chlorhexidine Gluconate
– Application Areas:
– For pre- and post-surgical skin antisepsis

– For hard surface disinfection and emergency instrument disinfection
– Instructions for Use:
– Use undiluted

– For pre-and post-surgical skin antisepsis: Swab skin to visibly wet area to be treated. Avoid spillage of the product. Leave for 2 minutes
