LMA Proseal Airway Introducer

– The LMA Proseal Airway Introducer is used to aid insertion of the LMA ProSeal Airway, where it is desirable to avoid placing the finger in the patient’s mouth

– The proseal lma is shaped to facilitate easy insertion

– The tool is malleable, hence the introducer is supplied in the recommended curvature for immediate use and can be bent to any desired shape

– The introducer should be removed prior to inflation and fixation of the LMA ProSeal

– It may be possible to reduce or eliminate head and neck manipulation while using the introducer

– The introducer should be cleaned and sterilised in the same manner as the LMA Proseal
