MDS TM Viral Transport medium is a specially formulated medium for collection and transport of viruses. It is designed to maintain the optimum viability and virulence of the viral sample.

MDS TM Viral Transport Medium is made of Hanks’ Balanced Salt Solution (HBSS) and contains protective protein antibiotics to control microbial contamination and buffers to control the pH.

The sterile non-cotton synthetic swabs on a plastic shaft with a break point can be used for collecting nasal and throat samples.
